The purpose of this course is to introduce massage therapists to the benefits of Lymphatic Drainage Massage. This course includes a full body lymphatic drainage massage and why you would choose to utilize lymphatic drainage massage techniques during a massage session on certain clients. Lymphatic drainage massage provides another tool for helping clients reduce and manage pain and these massage techniques are easy to learn and can be integrated into the massage session. We have included the therapeutic benefits of lymphatic drainage massage and the contraindications, the history of lymphatic drainage massage, client education and how the lymphatic system operates within the human body.

This course includes information on Diabetes and how this disease affects the body. We have included the leading causes of soft tissue damage due to diabetes, and how massage will assist with alleviating these symptoms. We walk you through client education and the client intake to be used with your diabetic clientele, as well as the benefits and contraindications. We have included streaming video massage technique demonstrations specific to your diabetic clientele that adds another dimension of effective pain relief. This course introduces the massage therapists to geriatric massage techniques designed to address the specific needs of the elderly population. We included information on the frailty scale, benefits, contraindications, client intake and a streaming video treatment protocol that includes gentle stretching, range of motion and geriatric massage techniques. You will learn how and why geriatric massage can be especially helpful for maintaining and improving overall health as we age. We included research showing geriatric massage relieves anxiety and provides comfort. The marketing tips will assist you in creating a geriatric massage clientele. This course includes information on Cannabidiols and how they interact with the endocannabinoid system to assist clients with maintaining homeostasis. What are CBDs, and how they are procured is also covered. The course includes a Full Body CBD massage protocol. The 2018 Farm Bill federally legalized hemp and hemp-derived products, including CBD, as long as the THC concentration is 0.3% or less. For topical CBD products used in massage, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has indicated that they are exempt from control under the Controlled Substances Act. There is no federal prohibition on massage therapists using CBD products as long as the product is derived from hemp and contains less than 0.3% THC. However, state and local regulations vary, and some jurisdictions have stricter rules or licensing board requirements that massage therapists must follow. Always check with your state and local government before performing a CBD massage.
